Sip sip hooray, it’s World Cocktail Day! Get your shakers at the ready to create these incredible cocktail recipes from award-winning local distillers Sunshine & Sons: click through to learn how to whip up their refreshing Vodka Watermelon Cooler, their indulgent Espresso Martini, their tropical Spicy Mango Daquiri, their crowd-pleasing Negroni and more!

Did someone say cocktail o’clock? Let’s raise a glass to that!


Vodka Watermelon Cooler

▪︎ 60ml of Sunshine & Sons Original Vodka
▪︎ 30ml of Fresh lime juice
▪︎ 20ml of Simple syrup
▪︎ 90ml of Watermelon juice
▪︎ Top up with Soda water, garnish with a watermelon wedge and enjoy!

Espresso Martini

▪︎ 45ML of Sunshine & Sons Original Vodka
▪︎  20ML of Sunshine & Sons Mr Barista
▪︎ 45ML of Cold Brew Coffee or 2 shots of espresso
▪︎ 7.5ML of Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur
▪︎ 15ML of Vanilla Syrup
Method: Add all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice;
Shake well until chilled; double strain into a martini or coupe glass.
Garnish with 3 coffee beans.

Clover Club

▪︎ 50ML of Sunshine & Sons Original Dry Gin
▪︎ 10ML of Sweet Vermouth
▪︎ 20ML of Lemon Juice
▪︎ 30ML of Raspberry Jam
▪︎ 20ML of Egg White; or Aquafaba
Method: Add all the ingredients into a shaker, shake well without ice, add ice into the shaker,
Shake well until chilled; double strain into a coupe glass.

Negroni

▪︎ 30ml of Sunshine & Sons Original Dry gin
▪︎ 30ml of Campari
▪︎ 30ml of Sweet Vermouth
Method: Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice and stir well until the drink is chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass with a big ice cube, garnish with orange zest.

Nil Desperandum Mai Colada

▪︎ 30ml of Nil Desperandum PREMIER
▪︎ 30ml of Nil Desperandum SPECIAL
▪︎ 20ml of Triple Sec
▪︎ 20ml of Creamy Coconut Milk
▪︎ 20ml of Fresh Pineapple Juice
▪︎ 20ml of Lime Juice
▪︎ 20ml of Orgeat Syrup
Method: Add all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake well until chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a mint sprig and a pineapple slice.

Spicy Mango Daiquiri

▪︎ 45ML of Nil Desperandum PREMIER
▪︎ 15ML of Yuzu Liqueur
▪︎ 40ML of Mango Puree
▪︎ 20ML of Lime Juice
▪︎ 10ML Spicy Honey Syrup
Method: Add all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake well until chilled.
Double strain into a coupe glass or Nick and Nora glass.
