Between deadlines, meetings and the ever-turning wheel of life, it’s not often we get to ‘go local’ and spend an uninterrupted day enjoying everything that Noosa’s iconic Hastings Street has to offer.

Our writers, Mel and Bex, jumped at the chance and found pure enjoyment exploring the charming restaurants, quirky stores, chic boutiques, serene spas and vibrant seaside atmosphere that Noosa is famous for!

Breakfast at Noosa Beach house

No day on Hastings Street would be the same without a spot of brekkie. Noosa Beach House now offers a delightful breakfast menu from 7am to 11am which is perfect for Noosa’s early risers. They have a lovely combination of sweet and savoury breakfast options. Bex loved the Coconut Chia Pudding, while I indulged in the Moreton Bay Bug Croque Madame – a must-try signature dish. To elevate your morning, try out their 10am Happy Hour featuring refreshing mimosas and revitalising bloody Marys!

Sensaura Day Spa

If a spa session is on your agenda, the serene Sensaura Day Spa is a must-visit. For a quick morning pamper, we recommend the Gua Sha Glow 90-minute facial or the 90-minute Ocean Bliss Volcanic Mineral Wrap. Then, go deeper into your wellness journey with their ongoing yoga classes on the Tropical Balcony. Join them every Monday, Thursday, Friday, and every second Saturday at 7:30am. Don’t miss their Yin and Sound sessions every Tuesday at 5:15pm.

Village Bookshop

Brimming with beautiful books, this is a store for happy browsing and buying. But did you know that the Village Bookshop operates as a ‘profit-for-purpose’ business by the Wise Foundation with a focus on strengthening community through innovative solutions. Part of this is to train students from the Flexible Learning School to work in retail. If you’re in the market for a good book (who isn’t?) then be sure to amble along to Village Bookshop.

Little Cove Collective

This joyful store tucked away in Bay Village is an explosion of colour and textures. A real treasure trove of unique gifts, clothing baby and kids’ toys and homewares for yourself or your loved ones. For that next birthday party or special occasion or even just to immerse yourself in this fanciful and festive space, be sure to pop over to Little Cove Collective.

Beau Gentry

If you’re in the market for some super stylish, handpicked premium men’s fashion, world-class service and the best local and international brands, then Beau Gentry is your next stop. Store manager Daniel describes the store’s style as ‘edgy but not try-hard’ and  encourages everyone to come and find items they won’t see anywhere else. Plus, Daniel and the Beau Gentry team believe that life is simply better at the beach. We couldn’t agree more, Daniel. And we love your store and good vibes.
