Heart of Gold at FREYA Fine Jewellery

Lilli Frey is a creative entrepreneur with a heart of gold and a love of colour and community that is so evident in her beautiful new space in Noosa.

As you walk into the Freya boutique on Hastings Street you are transported to a fairytale land where florals and colourful fine jewellery wrap you up and offer you a sparkly hug.

This is delivered not only visually but by the welcoming customer experience the team pride themselves on.

There is an immediate sense of family at Freya. It’s evident that a strong bond has been the foundation for this first-class fine jewellery business to flourish and it’s certainly in the genes.

Lilli’s mum is a goldsmith trained in Melbourne and has her own brand, Studio Swoon. Her dad is a Venetian glass artist trained in Venice by masters of the craft. So, it’s no surprise that Lilli has landed in the same field and this second-generation jeweller certainly stands alone in her space in the industry.

Lilli’s designs are unique, modern yet classic and bursting with colour.

“Vibrant colour was integral to my debut collection,” she said. “It began with cluster rings with multiple different coloured stones and that core collection still exists today.”

The Freya collection includes lab-grown gems and stones that make the range accessible plus sustainably and ethically sourced.

Pearls are also prevalent in her creations with the signature Keshi Pearl necklace coveted by those in the know.

“I love to explore how I can combine pearls and colour and moulding stones to pearl,” she says. “The result is romantic and sultry – its unlike anything you will see elsewhere.”

The beauty of Freya is also in the family Lilli has built around the brand.

“The reason we are successful is that we take time to get to know our customers and community – Freya becomes a part of our customers life story” she adds. “We hold regular fundraising events to help make a difference to the lives of families and the loyalty and love it generates make all the hard work pay off – we love our Freya family”. So do we.
