Celebrating 60 years in business are two French brands synonymous with luxury – Sofitel and Thalgo.
To mark the occasion, these pampering powerhouses have collaborated to reward and rejuvenate guests at Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort’s Aqua Day Spa with transformative and indulgent spa experiences.
Marking a harmonious blend of sophistication and holistic wellbeing, a refurbishment of the treatments and facilities have delivered a sanctuary where guests can escape the stresses of modern life and indulge in the art of self-care.
The icing on the cake? Access to exclusive Thalgo treatments and rituals designed to cater to individual needs and preferences with personalised skincare treatment plans with proven clinical results.
Drawing inspiration from the healing properties of the ocean, Thalgo’s cutting-edge skincare formulations are paired with Sofitel’s signature service to provide a transformative and indulgent spa experience.

Clearly the respect is mutual with Thalgo representatives recently travelling from France to celebrate the collaboration and conduct a two-day Masterclass training session at Aqua Day Spa with other beauticians from the Pacific region.
Thalgo’s Thalasso Therapy is centred around seawater therapy and this has been incorporated across the range of treatments at Aqua Day Spa, including the Aqua pools.
The hydrotherapy pools and hydrating spa are warmed to an inviting 37 degrees and now infused with sea minerals, magnesium and potassium. Individual submerged lounges deliver a combination of trigger-point water pressure or invigorating water massage to enhance the benefits of your treatment or for ultimate relaxation.
Inside the spa, there are seven treatment rooms, including a steam room infused with aromatic essential oils. Body Treatments range from scrubs and exfoliations to body wraps including Thalgo’s Indian-inspired Indoceane Body Wrap; a Mineralising Mud Wrap; or Marine-Algae Detox Wrap.

There is also a tailored Gentlemen’s Facial and advanced anti-ageing facials, starting with the Hyalu-Procollagène Correcting Facial for people in their 30s; the Silicium Super-Lift Facial for 40s; Ultime Facials for 50s; and the Oxygen Hyaluronic Boosting Facial for all ages.
Massage is the most popular order of the day and it’s no surprise. Starting at a minimum of 75 minutes, there is a Holistic Relaxation (also available in 90 minutes); an Exceptional Massage Journey including a face and scalp massage, Thalgo biocellulose shot mask and indulgent foot exfoliation and massage!
The Holistic Therapeutic Massage comes with your choice of enhancement; and also on the menu is a Mum-to-Be Pregnancy Safe massage; Hot Stone Massage; Jet Lag Massage, and Foot and Leg Indulgence focusing on pressure points with the application of a specialised Thalgo luxury cream.
The Wellness Journeys offer perfectly-packaged options ranging from the aptly-named Nourish Me; Revitalise Me; Detoxify Me; or Recover Me; to Nurture Mum for the mum to be.
It’s the Sleep Ritual treatment that is proving most popular, with a combination of head, face and neck massage targeting Ayurvedic Marma points to calm the nervous system plus magnesium essential oils and yoga nidra meditation.
Sleep experts were engaged in the creation of the holistic Spa Package as well as in-room enhancements and sleep programs such as meditation and aromatherapy.
